Step 1: Determine How Much R-value is Needed

Step 2: Remove Existing Insulation or Add Insulation

In some cases, it may be necessary to remove existing insulation before adding more. This applies if the insulation is damaged, wet, moldy, or infested with pests. Removing compromised insulation ensures a clean and effective insulation layer.
